Maandag 17 januari was The Heavy, ter promotie van hun nieuwste album ‘The House That Dirt Built’, te gast bij The Late Night Show van David Letterman. Letterman was nog nooit eerder zo weg geblazen door een band.

Reactie band manager: “I cannot express to you all how amazing Letterman went. Letterman made us play the song a second time immediately following the performance. It’s the first time in the history of the show he’s done this. Everyone was blown away. His crew couldn’t believe it and neither could any of us watching it. I won’t spoil the fun for you all watching, but let’s just say this should be the catalyst for a really amazing year…I promise you’ll all be blown away”.

Maar dit is niet het enige goede nieuws over The Heavy. The Heavy heeft hun eigen iPhone App, nu gratis verkrijgbaar via de iTunes App Store.

Het is een App met van alles en nog wat, met oa de volledige backcatalogus van The Heavy, te beluisteren via een audio player, plus de exclusieve 4-track ‘Live In Session’ EP, 3 gratis in-app videos, het laatse nieuws en updates, tourdata met ticket info, fotogallerie en live video footage.
